Giveaway!!!

I'vestartedstitchingand can't
seem to STOP!

I am obsessed! No fabric in my house with a blank space on it is safe from my little needle. I don't know what it is? I've been smocking, but THIS is so freeing. So much more room for creativity and crazy colors. So much less OCD, since I don't have those crisply even smocking pleats looking up at me, warning that each stitch better be perfect. I love this new embroidery whim so much, that I want to make one for one of you! A pajama shirt, or napkin set, or outfit for your wee-un. I guess it will depend on who you are :)
Here's what I want you to do. Comment on this post (cut off time will be Monday night--since I feel the need to give people some time to check the blog, considering you never know how long it will be between these postings). Just say hi--come out of the old stalking closet. Be sure to leave an email address so that I can get in touch with you. On Tuesday morning, I'll draw a winner and start my fingers working on some unsuspecting piece of fabric, just for you!

Abby, My daughter will be moving for the 3rd time in two yrs. to Hawaii. Her husband is a LT.COL in the USA Army. He will take his first command and head back to Iraq the following June. Here's the deal...She is a good OLE' Southern Gal married to a Army Officer and been "doing her time" living in Yankeeville" She is a good support doing so, I might add! LOL...She has two darling LIL' boys ages 4 and 6 the eldest has Autism. She works hard, hard, hard in all areas of her life. I would ADORE if you would select her and make a set of napkins or a hand towel. She will be moving into Post Housing soon, and she will be giving a lot of coffee and teas. I hope she remembers her Southern Ways. LOL... Thanks, Grimmydog@Aol.com

Abby, I enjoy reading your blog so much. Dr. Maddox and I were talking yesterday and I told him that I don't think you know just how much God is using you through this. My daughter, who is at Auburn, has recently started a blog
and I can see God using her the same way. I think it is so special to let people see and share your life, both the ups and downs. Dothan and FBC are really proud of you as wel as the other Clark girls. All of you are pretty awesome. As they say, Ken and Becky "done good."

Abby, I must confess, I've never met you but I LOVE your blog! My roommates and I read it constantly. I'm friends with Taylor & John David from college and my boyfriend actually lives with Caroline's boyfriend, Riley. Ok. I HAVE to comment now! I have been reading your blog for quite a while (as in over a year). Your family is just precious! We have 2 little girls as well so I especially enjoy your blog! We are in your dad's Sunday School class and just love him! What a joy! We were new to the class when your sister got married and he called us at home the week of the wedding to let us know we were personally invited. That's about the sweetest thing I've ever heard! We were going to the mountains with my parents that weekend so, unfortunately, we weren't able to be there. But that meant so much to me and my husband. Anyway...love your blog and count me in for the giveaway!

Okay, I'm another stalker. I've been reading your blog awhile and I really enjoy it. My husband and I went to Auburn and used to live in Dothan and your dad was our vet. We actually met once in the nursing room at Ridgecrest. Turns out that my younger sister also knows Taylor from Auburn...small world. I know you get a lot of emails but if you wouldn't mind emailing me, I would love to share an encouraging story about your mom and how she ministered to my family. Anyway, your stitching is so cute and I would love to be entered to win.

You are so an artist! Don't ever deny it again :) [i.e. refer to the wonderful book you gave me for my b-day that I love and cherish.] So, can I sign up with just a "hope chest" to put these beautiful things in for now? It seems kind of selfish when there are so many beautiful little cherubs walking around ready to model your fashions immediately... But, since I never win anything, I'll enter. I feel sure you don't need my contact info... You know how to reach me, always :)

Anonymous said...

Let me just add... if you teach me to sew (oh wise and creative one) and I'll manage the lucrative business that people are begging for :) Wow! I love the responses! Not that you needed to be validated, but you certainly where 100% On second thought, I probably am not capable of all the left brain thinking that is required for management... How about some art lessons for the girls? Who's kidding who... I'd do either for you in a hot minute (esp. if it meant getting to see you more :))
